Simple and Healthy Side Dish

So my parents and grandma came over for dinner a few weeks ago and I was making a dish I've made before... Crockpot Cranberry Pork.  (Again, I'm way behind in blogging my recipes!)  I decided to make a new side dish of veggies that was very healthy and even more simple.  I made Sesame Snap Peas with Red and Yellow Peppers.  The original recipe calls for carrots instead of yellow peppers, but I'm not big on cooked carrots.  Anyway, here's the recipe... it was a big hit!

Sesame Snap Peas with Peppers
8 oz Sugar Snap Peas
1 small Red Pepper
1 small Yellow Pepper
1 T Soy Sauce
1 T Sesame Oil
1 tsp Sesame Seeds

Place peas and peppers into a steamer basket over water, bring to a boil.  Cover and steam until crisp and tender... about 5-7 minutes.  Strain.  Toss with soy sauce, oil, and sesame seeds.

It was definitely a side dish everyone enjoyed, and it was very easy to make.  Enjoy :)
