Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches

These are delish and GREAT on a week night.  It cooks all day then all you have to do is shred the meat, toast some bread, dip, and eat.  So delicious.  Chris had never had french dip sandwiches before so he was nervous, but he asked me to add these to our meal rotation.  I'm definitely OK with that.  Here ya go:

Crock Pot French Dip Sandwiches
3 1/2 lb Beef Chuck Roast
16 oz Beef Broth
10.5 oz French Onion Soup
6 oz Wine
1 tsp Garlic Powder
S&P
4-6 Rolls
Slices of Provolone Cheese (opt)

Trim fat off meat, season w/ S&P.  Pour beef broth, soup, red wine, and garlic powder into the crock pot.  Place Beef into liquid.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Take beef out and let it rest, covered, for about 15 minutes.  Slice beef and return to the slow cooker. (It shreds, it would really slice)  Cook it on low for another 30 minutes. (honestly, not sure how imperative this step is...)

Toast the bread, add cheese to bread until melted.  Top bread/cheese with beef.  Spoon the juice into a small bowl.  Dip and Enjoy!
