So I found a recipe on my favorite site, Iowa Girl Eats, for Steak Tacos. Well, I had a bunch of other food that needed to be eaten so I just used the marinade for the steak from this recipe instead of making all the taco fixings. It's delicious and I think this would be tasty on chicken and pork as well!
Steak Marinade
1 Steak-- I used sirloin, this would be good with any
1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp Brown Sugar
2 garlic cloves
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp Red Chili Pepper Flakes if you like a little kick (I did not use this)
Whisk together all ingredients. In a zip lock bag, pour ingredients on top of steak. Shake around to cover the whole steak. Place in the fridge for 1-4 hours. Grill steak when ready!
This is such good marinade. The flavor is not too strong and it is just slightly sweet. My husband didn't even use A1 Sauce :) So even though I didn't make the tacos that the recipe was written for, I used the marinade in another way to use up other food I already had in the house. Enjoy!!
