Heart of the Matter

As I have said before, I am a sucker for cheesy romance novels.

I had started a book called Cutting for Stone that I think will be a really great book.  It is about two brothers who are orphans, their mother was a nun and their father was a doctor.  It takes place in Africe starting around 1920.  That is about as far as I got in the book though... But let's be honest, I just don't have as much time to read and thoroughly enjoy a book.  By the time I find time to read is right before bed and I'm really tired.  Sometimes it's hard to focus, and this book seems really good, but I couldn't focus.  So I decided to set it aside until I have more time to :)

Well back to the fact that I love romance novels....  I highly recommend the book Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin.  If you have read Something Borrowed by the same author, you will definitely enjoy the book.

This book is about two women.  One of the women is the wife of a doctor, and the other woman has a son who is the patient of the same doctor.  I'm sure you can predict what happens, as most romance novels are fairly predictable, though it ends happy. I really enjoyed this book because it's such a light read at the end of the day.  It was a great way to unwind at the end of the day.  So if you are in need of a good romance novel, a mindless read you should definitely read Heart of the Matter.
