Heaven is for Real

Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo is a must read.  You do not have to be a religious person to read this.  This little boy ends up having emergency surgery, and over a course of many years, tells his parents about his time in Heaven during his surgery.  He did not die, by any means, he had a sort of outer body experience.  It's very interesting.  It's a must read, I read it in only a couple days.

As a teacher, I love children and the stories they have to tell.  Kids can tell the most outlandish stories, and his little boy's parents think it's a silly story at first.  But over time, they begin to believe their little boy was actually in heaven for a short time.  The detail of his stories amazes his parents.
